Marcus Andrews has 10 years experience providing counselling in a range of settings. This includes men’s counselling, addiction counselling, sexuality related therapy, supporting people with neurological conditions and providing family therapy to families with a wide range of difficulties. In counselling Marcus supports people to better understand their feelings, abilities, behaviour and relationships.

Marcus believes that having a better understanding of people’s past experiences, relationships and their current day stressors is central to reducing compulsive behaviour and stopping destructive relationship patterns, and to improving individuals psychological wellbeing and couple and family relationships.

Stephen Schmidtke has 17 years experience providing counselling services.
He is an accomplished counsellor who has worked in a broad range of client focused approaches within a variety of settings.
He also has extensive training in 'Narrative' and 'Solution Focused' therapies.
Stephen has assisted children, adolescents, adults, families and couples with complex presenting issues such as adolescent & adult mental health, drugs, significant family issues, separation, trauma, grief and loss as well as those day to day issues that at times catch up with us all.

Stephen believes that by assisting people to explore their relationships with the issues concerning them, and their understandings and beliefs of these issues, they can unearth and develop new ways of approaching their problems and concerns.

Liz Chard

Liz Chard has had over 12 years experience working in rehabilitation settings and in the community with a focus on recovery and emotional adjustment following trauma. She has worked extensively with individuals and their families in dealing with the associated cognitive, behavioural and emotional changes with an emphasis on learning strategies to overcome difficulties, and understanding and accepting the nature of these challenges.

Liz’s approach combines her extensive experience and knowledge of human communication and her counselling skills. With this focus, she aims to help individuals better understand the issues they bring to counselling and through a client centred approach assist them to discover new and effective ways of dealing with these issues.
