Amy Addinsall is a highly regarded and skilled counsellor who provides high quality counselling to adults, young adults, and adolescents.  Amy has been in practice for over 20 years. Her qualifications and professional expertise are underpinned by her life journey and natural attributes such as warmth and intuition. 

Amy is committed to supporting people in transforming their lives through their experience of counselling. She is passionate about all dimensions of well- being and has a dedicated focus on supporting others to work through their challenges and come to a place of harmony within their lives. Amy has a particular ability to connect with people and works to create a strong trusting relationship where each individual feels seen, heard, and valued. Each person is viewed as an expert of their own experience, capable of self-healing. Amy facilitates this process, assisting the person to tap into their unique strengths, whilst providing guidance and knowledge where necessary.

Amy is inspired by each of her clients and in addition to the invaluable learning from them, continues to undertake extensive training in a range of modalities. Therapeutic approaches are tailored to each individual’s requirements. These include Emotion- Focused therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Attachment Theory, Person- Centred therapy, Mindfulness and Meditation, and Experiential Focusing, amongst others.
