Jaimee Krawitz is a highly experienced and regarded counsellor who works with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children who present with an extensive range of issues and circumstances. Jaimee is a full member of the Australian Counselling Association.
Jaimee’s approach involves creating a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and understood. Jaimee collaborates closely with clients by building a strong therapeutic relationship, which then allows her to identify personalised tools and approaches to help clients overcome challenges and achieve their goals. This, along with her extensive experience in the field, allows Jaimee to help promote positive change in clients’ lives so that they may have an improved wellbeing.
So that all sessions are tailored to a client’s strengths, personalities, and goals, Jaimee utilizes various therapeutic methods. These modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Behaviour, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Theory for Couples Counselling, Mindfulness, Person-Centred Therapy, Family-Based Therapy for anorexia nervosa (FBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E). Implementation of these techniques, guided by Jaimee’s experienced approach gives clients the opportunity to live life to their fullest.
