Michal deWilloughby is a highly experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist who has worked for the last 19 years across a wide range of demographics from adolescents, adults, and couples, as well as supporting other counselling practitioners through ongoing clinical supervision in their work. Michal is registered with The Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and has assisted numerous clients across a diverse spectrum of health and well-being issues.

Influenced by her own life experiences, Michal’s journey as a counselling therapist has been one of passionate commitment to dispelling the stigmas, myths, and negative perceptions held by society towards counselling, mental health, and well-being, as well as what it means to be an empowered human being. Her many years of experience, competency in her work, her attention to being fully present, empathetic, and compassionate enable Michal to create a respectful, grounded environment for clients to delve into the issues they are struggling with. Michal’s work is dedicated to empowering clients in such a way that they feel more connected to their authentic humanness, have confidence about their inner resources and strengths, as well as their ability to impactfully move forward in their life’s journey in a more meaningful and fulfilling way.
