Nick Koyang is a passionate counsellor, with many years of experience supporting individual adults, couples, and families, and is known for his impactful and effective work. Nick holds full membership with both the ACA and the AASW and has worked across a variety of settings.
Nick's collaborative approach leads clients to explore the roots of their concerns. He then supports clients to safely navigate their way to achieve their goals. Nick believes in the power of self-discovery in building confidence and resilience, and is therefore committed to working with his clients to restore positive life stories and pave the way to a better future.
With Narrative Therapy as his primary modality, Nick supports his clients to continue to challenge and adjust the stories people have about themselves. He also draws on skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, to support the unique journey for each client.
