Sarah Cotillon is a highly qualified counsellor with many years of experience in the field. She is a Level 4 member of the Australian Counselling Association, a Registered Clinical Counsellor with PACFA, and is fully trained in EMDR Therapy with the EMDR Institute of Australia & New Zealand. Sarah works with couples, adults, and adolescents in a diverse range of settings.

Sarah aims to understand her clients’ unique circumstances and to support them in the process of growth and development.  With Sarah’s guidance, clients learn to examine their thoughts and emotions with honesty; leading to greater self-awareness and the possibility of making measurable improvements to their lives. This could be in terms of more satisfying and peaceful relationships with others, or it could be about tempering the negative and judgmental thoughts one has about oneself.

Negative past experiences or destructive relationships can stand in the way of a healthy sense of self. With compassion and self-acceptance clients can learn to turn away from repetitive, self-destructive patterns. Sarah uses a range of therapeutic interventions; Person-Centred, Family Systems, Existential, EMDR Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
