Tanya Kavina is a highly qualified counsellor with many years of experience in the field. She is a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and works with clients of all ages to help them navigate a wide range of presenting challenges.
Tanya deeply enjoys working with people; she is outcome focused and incredibly passionate about facilitating growth and change. Whether it’s helping clients reach their counselling goals or hearing where here clients are at, she is dedicated to making a positive difference. Tanya views counselling as an opportunity to help clients learn practical strategies that enable them to thrive and make the most of their unique potential. She is especially committed to guiding people through difficult times, and helping them find hope and strength when life feels overwhelming.
Each counselling session is tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each client. Tanya uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Tanya believes that change is always possible, no matter where you are in life — and that the best time to start is now.
