Vinay Nair is a highly skilled and regarded counsellor who has been in the field for more than 15 years. Vinay holds a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face across all age groups and life stages. He is therefore deeply passionate about his counselling practice and has a strong belief in the importance of providing a hopeful and enriching experience for his clients.
Vinay believes that counselling is an opportunity where people can unpack their unique life experiences and see what might be colouring their perceptions, choices and experiences. He builds partnerships with his clients so that he may help them develop self-awareness, identify strengths, build resilience, and find a hopeful way forward.
In addition to talk therapy, Vinay provides practical tools and techniques to help clients take concrete steps towards their goals and lead more fulfilling lives. He draws upon various therapeutic approaches, such as person-centred therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, mindfulness and ACT, to tailor his approach to each client's unique needs. Above all, Vinay prioritises creating an experience where clients feel valued and understood.
